On-premise AI
AI models that run on your own hardware in your own data centre — instead of as a rented cloud API.
On-premise AI means the models run on infrastructure the organisation owns or controls — in its own data centre or server room. Requests never leave the internal network.
The difference from the cloud lies in the billing and control model: on-premise means a one-off investment in hardware plus running operation (CapEx), the cloud means usage-based rent (OpEx). From steady load, running it yourself often pays off — and delivers the data sovereignty regulated industries need as a by-product.
But a bare GPU in the server room is not yet an operational platform. It lacks access control, orchestration, model lifecycle and audit. Quinta provides this operating layer.
